We are now looking for a software developer for our Västerås office, who is well versed and experienced in software development for both .net and embedded systems.
You'll be involved both in providing support to existing projects and participate in developing new systems. Moreover, when required, you'll be working on client site as a consultant. As a Software Developer at Digital Dividend it is not only required that you have a very good understanding of programming but also good knowledge in software development life cycle in general.
Primary Responsibilities: Scope and write requirements specifications for new projects. Implement and Unit-test new features and solutions. Debug, enhance and refactor existing projects.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education and Experience
Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Embedded systems.
Minimum 3-5 years of hands on experience with software development.
Technical Skills
Good knowledge in C# .NET-programming.
Good knowledge in programming for Embedded systems (C, C++, atmel studio).
Hands on skills in electronic circuit designing and testing.
Excellent command over databases (relational and/or NoSQL)
Knowledge about JavaScript, NodeJS and similar frameworks.
Knowledge of web front-end development technologies.
Personal Skills
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbally.
Good communication skills in Urdu is highly desirable. Our development center is in Karachi, Pakistan and you'll be regularly communicating with the offshore team.
Digital Dividend provides software development consultants to IT companies and it has an office in Västerås, Sweden and in Karachi, Pakistan.
We are working with Web, Mobile, VR and IoT applications.
Varaktighet, arbetstid
In addition to the above, about 10% of traveling will be required as our development office is in Karachi, Pakistan you are expected to travel to and forth for knowledge transfer and during project deployments.
