TAT, The Astonishing Tribe, was acquired by BlackBerry in December 2010 and ever since then we have been focusing on creating the next generation user experience for BlackBerry devices. With the new BB10 platform soon to be shipping we have an adventure in front of us with several new products and opportunities. We are right now looking for talents for several positions.

Position Summary

Want to develop on cutting edge Macintosh software supporting millions of Mac users around the world? Want to design and implement new and upcoming BlackBerry Desktop features? Want to work in a dynamic team? Then this is the job for you!

Responsibilities

As a key member of the Mac Desktop development team, the successful candidate will be completely immersed in the development of Macintosh solutions. A strong understanding of Objective C, Cocoa, Xcode is ideal. Responsibilities include design, implementation, and maintenance of Desktop features.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years experience in software development
• Must be proficient in Objective-C or C
• Development experience at the application and user interface level with Cocoa or Cocoa Touch
• Experience with OOP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required for day-to-day interaction within cross-functional teams
• Results oriented work ethic

Additional Assets

• Development experience with the Mac OS X or iOS operating system
• Familiar with Interface Builder and Xcode for Mac or iOS
• Experience with Core Animation, Sync Services, or Core Data
• Experience with C++, Python, or shell scripting
• Experience with device communication protocols (USB, Bluetooth)
• Familiar with PackageMaker or other Mac OS installer tools
