Electronic Defence Systems, a business area of Saab, is one of the world's premier suppliers of solutions for surveillance, avionics and systems to detect, locate and protect against threat.
In Operations Järfälla we develop and produce different products within the electronic warfare and radar.
We are now looking for a competent employee to our Configuration Management team which supports the entire Järfälla site.
Your role
As SW Configuration Manager (SW CM) you will be working in a central position in our projects and have a good overview of out SW development and verification.
Your assignment among other things consists of
• Build and deliver SW build as well as to maintain our build system
• Be responsible for out branching strategy and continue to develop our SW CM strategy
• Be part of developing the SW development environment and tool by automation and scripting
• Plan and implement the CM work in the projects and line organization
• Create and maintain the product structure and the corresponding documentation
• Drive and follow up changes to the products so that the changes are implemented and the supporting documentation is maintained
• Train and give support to the projects and line organization within the CM area
Your qualifications
You shall have a college degree and have worked with SW CM for at least three years.
You are fluent in English, both written and verbally.
As a person you are result oriented and like to maintain order around you. You need to enjoy multi-tasking and a high working tempo.
You should also have an interest in build systems and automatisation through scripting, an advantage is if you have been part of some open source project.
You like to work individually and can put demand on the organization in order to get the products and the supporting documentation ready on time with quality.
