Are you a SW Engineer with an interest in CI Machinery? Join us as a Software Configuration Manager in Development Environment at Product Development Group (PDU) Packet Core!
We are responsible for assuring a highly available Engineering Environment and continuous integration for the PDG products development. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We coordinate with product development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation.

You will:
Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working.
Define, build, register, and maintain product structures and related documentation
Defines and manages the branching and delivery process for projects.
Software configuration management procedure improvement.
Use CM tools(Git/Gerrit etc.) to store track and manage configuration items.


Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Algorithms or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience working with configuration management systems and documentation systems
Good understanding of Software product lifecycle management, including product release cycles, assessment, and version control
Ability to logically think through and solve challenging issues both individually and within a team
Good experience on GNU/Linux, Open Source and Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory
Programming languages: Shell scripting / Python /Bash / Perl/ Java and Groovy.
Hands-on experience of GIT, Stash, GitHub/Bitbucket etc. and release branching models, Jenkins is preferred;
Effective presentation skills including the ability to train others
Good communication skills in written and spoken English


Preferred qualifications:
Standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates and key management.
Maintaining internet facing production-grade applications in virtualized environments such as cloud computing platforms and services.
Working with scalable networking technologies such as Load Balancers/Firewalls and web standards (REST APIs, web security mechanisms).
Working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Mesos, OpenStack, Ansible and Spinnaker).
Understanding of open source server software (such as NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch).
Domain experience: Tools development, Continuous Integration, Build systems, Automation
Experience in developing software in PDU Packet Core or understanding the development flow of PC products is considered a merit
