The Finance Function of Volvo Car Engine consists of approximately 10 employees with the purpose to support the activities of Skövde and Floby. We are currently looking to strengthen our business with a Site Controller to the business in Floby.
As Site Controller you will be representing finance in Floby. Your responsibility is to participate in the preparation of business plans, forecasts and financial statements. You also support and challenge the business to achieve the goals. The role requires the ability to work independently, take initiatives and prioritise with focus on delivery and set deadlines.
Main responsibilities
• Represent Finance in management meetings
• Participate in the preparation of business plans, forecasts and financial statements
• Develop specifications for pricing of external affairs
• Follow up external affairs
• Drive production organisation towards cost targets
• Work to increase cost awareness and the economic competence of the organisation
• Ensure that activities are undertaken on the basis of financial legal requirements, regulations and the Volvo Car Group finance manual
Required qualifications
• B. Sc. or M. Sc. in Business Administration
• Proficiency in understanding and interpreting financial information and communicating the information in a clear and concise way
• Business knowledge in manufacturing industry or other industrial experience
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Experience in SAP / R3 is an advantage
