Are you passionate about IT support and enjoy solving technical challenges while delivering great service? We are now looking for a Service Desk Technician to join an international Internal Service Desk team supporting users across multiple countries.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, working on-site in Malmö while collaborating closely with colleagues globally.
About the role
As a Service Desk Technician, you will support end users with daily IT incidents and requests. You'll troubleshoot hardware/software issues, manage accounts, document cases in ticketing systems, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and innovative projects.
You will be part of a team distributed across 8 different countries, making collaboration and communication a key part of your daily work.
Key responsibilities
Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (OS, applications, network)
Manage user accounts (password resets, access permissions, etc.)
Document and track incidents in the ticketing system
Escalate complex cases and collaborate with other IT teams
Support setup and configuration of new hardware and software
Provide guidance and training to users on IT systems and tools
Contribute to improvement initiatives and innovative projects
We are looking for someone who has
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Experience with common software applications
Basic understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
A structured and proactive mindset with strong initiative
A service-oriented approach and consulting mindset
Education
Degree in Computer Science or proven experience in a similar IT support / Service Desk role.
Language requirements
Fluent in Swedish and English
