IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
The section IT4IT is responsible for the development and support of tools, systems, information and processes in order to maintain and enhance quality and effectiveness in the IT Business. We are now designing and implementing the future tool landscape for the IT4IT area to support the new strategies of digitalization, automation and speed. The launch of the new tools and platforms for Scania are managed in cooperation with the Volkswagen Truck & Bus group.
We are searching for an agile and servant leader to drive the Tools Management area in this journey, in line with our vision and strategy. You will work with a mature and dedicated team.

Your daily challenge will include:
• Motivating, engaging and developing your co-workers.

• Responsibility for the team's delivery in close cooperation with various stakeholders internally Scania IT and VW T&B.
• Driving change in tools- and information management.
• Responsible for budget and to maximize business value from your capacity.
• Being a member of the management team, where you play an important role in formulating strategies, plans and visions for our area.

• Understanding and working closely with the IT business (our customers) in order to optimize business value for Scania.

• Building a modern technology baseline within the IT4IT area
Your profile
Our successful candidate is a natural leader with a passion and understanding for agile culture and ways of working. You have courage, you want to test new ideas and have them tried in short iterations, you continuously change based upon the outcome. You see creativity as a great way of working.
IT4IT Tools Management needs a new leader that drives change and constantly challenge the way we are working. Being a leader comes naturally to you. You can easily shift between operational and strategical mindset. As a leader you communicate expectations and know that feedback is crucial in driving the development of both team and individual. You are a good coach for your personnel and can adapt your leadership skills to different situations.
Having a close dialogue and a close cooperation with the business and users are instinctive to you, as is understanding your team's deliverables. You also have good knowledge of IT and information management and like to handle technical discussions. Furthermore your stakeholder management skills are excellent as you are expected to handle multiple business relations as well as coordinating several IT service deliveries.
Lastly, you need to be proficient in written and spoken Swedish and English.
