So who are we?
We are the Function Verification Group at Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Volvo Group Trucks Technology in Gothenburg!
And what do we do?
We are the group that verifies the system behaviour of our trucks. We perform end-to-end functional testing both through automation and exploratory sessions in rigs and trucks. Furthermore, we are responsible for coordination and planning of integration and verification locally as well as globally for our Heavy Duty range of trucks. Within our scope of responsibility lies the work with development of new test methods, processes, tools and the need for test equipment.
Why do we do that?
We do this in order to secure that the electrical system (the soul of the truck) is behaving according to requirements as well as Volvos high expectation on our products and thereby being a candidate for release.
Requirements
• M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, IT or recognised equivalent
• Knowledge of Automotive Integration & Verification and/or Software development
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Truck knowledge is merit
