This will be us - your new colleagues within Core Platform Area (CPA) SAP & Business Administration
CPA SAP & Business Administration is part of Technology, a function within Group Digital & IT with a big stake in the Group's digital transformation. Technology will modernize Volvo's core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products.
CPA SAP & Business Administration is responsible for IT solutions for VCE, Buses, GTO Manufacturing, Finance, HR & Other HQ functions and shared SAP platforms used across the Group.
We collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in Group Digital & IT, with Truck Divisions /Business Areas and Group Functions. We foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together.
This is how you could make an impact
SAP SuccessFactors is being implemented and will become the global master solution for Recruitment, On-boarding, Core HR, and Compensation processes for the whole Volvo Group.
As a solution architect being part of SuccessFactors team at Volvo Group Digital & IT your mission is to:
define and design enhancements identified in the team's backlog based on new business requirements, safeguarding the existing architecture around SuccessFactors
collaborate with other delivery teams and the other architects within the Solution Center, in multiple countries.
collaborate as well with the Enterprise Architect for strategic direction and follow established principles and guidelines, ensuring compliance to standards. Together with the other architects, you share the responsibility for the overall architecture consistency in the HR domain,
potentially be involved in other architecture related assignments outside the SuccessFactors scope
Your missions will cover several areas, including Security, Integration Architecture, Software Architecture. You have experience and knowledge in IT security, especially related to Saas applications and integration with 3rd party systems.
Your key responsibilities:
Analyze the technology environment, enterprise specifics
• Analyze business requirements with a holistic view and an architectural perspective
• Participate in solution decision together with the Product Owner
• Drive the North Star Assessment review by presenting and explaining the proposed solution to the North Star Architecture Committee
• Ensure usage of shared technical standards, tools, and platforms appointed in the Volvo Group
• Align with Volvo Group Security directives and fulfill the customer demands for information security. Drive and support delivery team in fulfilling all security requirements in our applications and projects.
• Contribute to Enterprise Architecture practices and Target Architecture development by addressing technical aspects of Enterprise Architecture and securing consistency with Business and Information architecture
• Perform ad-hoc Run Time audits related to architecture or security
Who are you?
You are passionate about driving strategic and technological transformation in a business focused way to achieve real impact. You are sensitive to digital technologies, IT security and data privacy.
Your skills and experience include:
• Architectural foundation, including methodologies and technologies (API's, Cloud, design patterns, digitalization, middleware, encryption methods)
• General knowledge about Architecture Processes. Experience of conducting architecture reviews including security checks
• 5 years experience from working with SAP SuccessFactors or similar. Experience with SAP HCM and SuccessFactors integrations would be a plus.
• Experience in Cyber Security, ability to deal with experts in this area, and anticipate impacts and possible gaps
• Strong problem solving & analysis skills: identifying, structuring, and tackling a problem situation
• Ability to present architectural decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently and interdependently in a global environment
• Ability to show both leading capacities and collaboration skills, having Customer Value and End-to-End service mindset as a priority
• Ability to build and maintain a good relationship with business partners and vendors
• Team player mindset with strong competences to share your knowledge
• Good communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written)
