At The Techno Creatives we're looking for a Senior Rust Full Stack Developer to join our team.
About the job
This role would put you in the position of working on React frontends in TypeScript while building out the backend in Rust, and making them communicate using GraphQL. So far we've had a lot of success with this pattern, and now we need someone who thinks they'd enjoy this work to join our growing team.
Initially you would be working with a small team on a web application that connects to our IoT platform (
https://www.technocreatives.com/elevate) for managing the rental state of a fleet of vehicles. However, based on our current plans, it is expected that you would be on multiple projects utilising your frontend and backend skills before the end of the year.
About you
We do not expect for many applicants to be able to demonstrate several years of Rust experience, and that's okay. You will be required to demonstrate your competence through the completion of a small assignment.
You have experience with TypeScript and modern React (hooks, etc)
Experience with modern HTML and CSS, especially grids and flexbox
Experience working with GraphQL and reactive design patterns
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with asynchronous Rust (Tokio)
Experience with backends and web APIs in general
A desire to collaborate with other web developers and designers
Tolerant of working with DateTime objects in both TypeScript and Rust
Localisation experience and knowledge of any other programming languages is a plus
