For our client, an international pharmaceutical company in Mölndal, we are now looking for a research scientist focused on the development and application of innovative imaging biomarkers.
Preferred startind date in 2013-06-01. The assignment is full time for one year with possibility for extension.

Publiceringsdatum2013-04-10Dina arbetsuppgifterThe In Vivo Biomarker group (part of the Personalised Healthcare and Biomarkers research function), located in Alderley Park (Cheshire, UK) and Mölndal, employs a team of scientists using a range of state of the art in-vivo imaging scanners (PET, MRI, CT, SPECT, Ultrasound) focusing on the development and application of innovative imaging biomarkers. A contract position has become available for a high calibre person to join the team in Mölndal.
You should be able to work closely with colleagues in the group as well as in bioscience and clinical departments. You will be responsible for prioritise, manage and deliver imaging informatics solutions for projects in areas such as oncology, respiratory disease and drug safety assessment. That person should have good communication and interpersonal skills in order to contribute fully to translational imaging projects, to develop new partnerships and to champion delivery. You will be encouraged to publish scientific work.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a PhD in a relevant discipline, or proven experience of multi-dimensional image analysis, with a record of publications on the subject of image analysis in preclinical and clinical research. You have good programming skills using established numerical analysis software packages and have good knowledge of image segmentation and registration techniques and be familiar with common in-vivo imaging methods.
