hela Sverige The Senior Project Engineering delivers the objectives of the engineering related part of the bid/contract for large scale, high complex projects. He/ She leads the Engineering Core Team for all assigned tasks within schedule, allocated budgets, scope and to the required quality and establishes proper governance to ensure proper risk assessment and mitigation. The Senior Project Engineer is the technical expert that leads and ensures consistency, robustness/design and functionality of the system throughout the project execution. Throughout the project lifetime the Senior Project Engineer keeps a watchful eye on product development activities. He or she anticipates and high lights technical issues with potential impact on performance and operability of the system. The Senior Project Engineer ensures that system configuration, functionality and safety are adequate in relation to the requirements and objectives of project activities. The Senior Project Engineer is the overall technical leader in the value chain responsible for the technical solution and for the system delivery. He or she is to facilitate major issues within value chain and towards other interfaces. The Senior Project Engineer is to follow-up and report performance KPI's and CR and NCR's status on a monthly basis.
IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
• Lead and coordinate all aspects of the design, implementation, testing and commissioning required to deliver the scope of the engineering project so as to satisfy customer requirements while adhering to the project time plan
• Coordinate execution of engineering activities, CCB, take decisions regarding technical issues, control against project requirements
• Establish and maintain interfaces with other Engineering departments & with relevant functions (Project Management, System Owner, EAPD, Procurement, Operations, Sales, Bids, etc).
• Monitor, control and report monthly all product related aspects of the project consistent with the contract requirements and established project management procedures to attain established goals
• Continuously optimize Project Engineering processes/tools/behaviors by considering business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations, and new market conditions
• Master or Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience in an international environment
• Good system knowledge on a technical level and strong background in railway signalling (Interlocking, ATP, Metros, CBTC and/or ERTMS technologies would be a plus)
• Easy to understand SW and HW, the interconnection - how SW and HW work together
• Broad knowledge of functionality and architecture of railway systems, products, signalling systems and standards within the Railway industry
• Ms Office package, Outlook, Lotus Notes and Synergy experience
• Proven experience of working with multinational teams.
• Developed diplomatic skills and open minded
• Ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
• English and Swedish business fluent are mandatory for this role
• Willingness to travel up to 20% per year nationally and internationally
