Kort beskrivning av företaget: The Institute of Health and Care Sciences offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs as well as individual academic courses within the first and second cycle of higher education. Basic training courses for nurses and radiographers lead both to a professional degree and a bachelor's degree. Training of midwives and specialist nursing with different orientations are professional registration in combination with master's degree. All professional programs lead to professional registration. Moreover, courses are offered at the advanced level, which give opportunity for continued studies to a master's degree in one of the institute's main topics; nursing, reproductive and perinatal health, radiography and health care pedagogics. The institute offers a postgraduate programme leading to a PhD degree in Health Care Sciences.

Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: SUBJECT AREA DESCRIPTION: In nursing knowledge is developed about health and a good life despite illness or disability and a peaceful and dignified death. In nursing, it is not illness or disability, but person's experience, interpretations and reactions to illness and disease that is focus. JOB ASSIGNMENTS:Activities include teaching, course coordination, supervision and the distribution of summative assessments on a first and second cycle level mainly with a focus on primary care. The mission as a course coordinator implies developing and coordinating learning objectives and activities, summative assessments and evaluation criteria in relation to the content, purpose and current pedagogical research as well as quality assurance of the education using validated evaluation methods. Furthermore, the candidate is expected to make active efforts towards achieving the institution's goals, work in accordance with the business plan and participate in planned joint meetings and activities at the institution. The successful candidate is also expected to actively initiate and apply for external research funding. The applicant is expected to teach in Swedish.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: ELIGIBILITY: The qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance. Pdh degree, shown pedagogical skills, qualification as a registered nurse and a qualification as a specialist nurse in primary care. ASSESSMENT: Regulations for the evaluation of qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance. The first assessment criterion is pedagogical and scientific skills. In the selection of the right candidate, there will be a focus on the applicant's current research and clinical experience in primary care. Experience from managing or applying for external research funding, supervision and the assessment of degree projects on a first and second cycle level are also highly valued competences. Furthermore, experience from research and teaching internationally is an advantage. Administrative skills and a proven ability to cooperate are all useful qualifications. The candidate is expected to teach in Swedish. The successful applicant may also be asked to complete an educational program within the first year of employment.
