Basic train-ing courses for nurses and radiographers lead both to a professional degree and a bachelor's degree. Training of midwives and specialist nursing with different orientations are professional registration in combination with master's degree. All professional programs lead to professional registration. Moreover, courses are offered at the advanced level, which give opportunity for continued studies to a master's de-gree in one of the institute's main topics; nursing, reproductive and perinatal health, radiography and health care pedagogics. The institute offers a postgraduate program leading to a PhD degree in Health Care Sciences.
Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: SUBJECT AREA DESCRIPTION: In nursing knowledge is developed about health and a good life despite illness or disability and a peaceful and dignified death. In nursing, it is not illness or disability, but person's experience, interpretation and reactions to illness and disease that is focus. JOB ASSIGNMENTS: Responsibilities include teaching, assignment as course coordinator, supervision and examination mainly at advanced level in Nursing. Further, the responsibility includes developing of courses in Nursing at advanced level, and the quality system for education and common master courses at Sahlgrenska Academy.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: ELIGIBILITY: PhD degree in Nursing or Health Care Sciences and shown pedagogical skills. Qualification as a registered nurse. ASSESSMENT: The first assessment criterion is pedagogical and scientific skills. Teaching experience including supervision and examination in Nursing at Masters level is meritorious. Great importance will be attached to pedagogical skills relevant for master level in Nursing, and educational quality systems.
