We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer for our product development team in Malmö. You will work closely with our product managers and UI designers, and will be responsible for developing front-end web applications.
Mubito runs two development teams - in Malmö and Kiev. Our Mubito 2.0 platform is based upon scalable and high availability architecture. Our team in Kiev is focused on developing the core or back-end of our applications in Java and our team in Malmö focuses on developing user friendly front-end applications based on Rest technologies.
Your main role will be to design our Mubito 2.0 front-end architecture that works in conjunction with our back-end applications. You will work closely with our Architect and Senior Developers in Kiev. As a Senior Front-end Developer you will lead of a team of 3 other PHP developers and you will work closely to our product managers and business representatives.
Responsibilities:
• Designing a highly scalable and high availability front-end framework.
• Ensuring code quality and code review for our front-end applications.
• Designing and implement new features on your own, as well as building on existing features of the website.
• From conception through to implementation, you’ll be writing code used by millions of people every day.
• Working well within the Mubito team to help improve the product and support our aggressive expansion plans.
Experience and personal qualities:
• Minimum of 5/6 years of PHP programming for large web based solutions such as e-commerce platform or social networks.
• An engineer education is well recommended or a master in computer science.
• A strong expertise within all PHP technologies such as OOD, OOP and PHP5.
• Your experience with the Zend platform is proven and you are familiar with the following concepts: OPcode, Code acceleration, cache strategies.
• Load testing and browsers compatibility have no secret for you.
• Some knowledge or experience with OpenX (openAds) and Piwik is very welcome.
• Experience with using JSP/PHP or similar server side frameworks in order to understand and improve the interactivity with our JAVA team in Kiev.
• Good knowledge of modern web standards solutions like AJAX, XHTML and CSS2.
• A strong knowledge about Internet is required with good understanding of SEO.
• Fluent in speaking and writing English.
• Interest in fields of music, social networking, blogging and related technologies, recommendation systems, and data mining.
Job location:
Malmo, Sweden. You must have the appropriate visa to work in Sweden.
