Would you like to be our new colleague at RSA Scandi, Codan Forsikring with expert knowledge, skills and interventions in relation to the RSA Financial Control Framework (FCF)? With the opportunity to influence, challenge and support the achievement of compliance with all relevant requirements within the business areas Finance, Reserving and SII?

The Responsibilities

As Sr. Financial Control Business Partner, you provide advice and consultancy on the Financial Control environment, including the provision of training, coaching and influencing as required:

• Mainly but not only supporting the Processes for Financial Control Statement, Solvency II and Reserving with:- Development of and input to an appropriate Financial Control environment
• Validation, aggregation and analysis of control data and process information
• Production of investigative reports and recommendations

• Developing robust relationships with process owners and project leaders in order to influence, challenge and support financial control related strategy and practices
• Contributing to a wide variety of projects and development initiatives
• Developing and maintaining a network of relationships within the relevant business areas to keep informed and up-to-date on developments and enable immediate engagement when action or support is needed

You are a Strong Communicator,
liaising with colleagues in order to investigate and resolve issues and give or obtain further information, and you are ensuring information and interpretation is presented clearly, unambiguously and appropriate for the audience and business purpose.

You understand, and challenge proposed new processes and system changes to ensure that the highest level of financial control is maintained.

You are known for discipline and structure including timely delivery and understands business process and systems. You set and work towards ambitious goals without compromising on responsiveness, adaptability or a developmental approach towards colleagues. You are fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.

You have significant experience,
within the areas of Finance, Reserving and SII from a risk and control perspective, and experience working with internal risk and controls and working with management at a strategic level. A suitable background may be a senior risk role/a senior auditor role or similar within a broad and complex organization.

Preferable you are experienced in financial matters within insurance with statutory and regulatory reporting, qualified in accounting, auditing or similar.

You will join the RSA Scandi Finance team where there is focus on quality and business acumen. The role is reporting to Head of Finance Governance and Control and is based in Copenhagen, but travel will be required as the role is multi-jurisdictional across Scandinavia.
