At Global Finance Operations you will be a key contributor to the creation of the next generation Finance community - One Finance. You and your team will develop and implement smart and nimble finance processes and tools to support the business in the best way. This will be done in close cooperation with Business Control in the functions as well as the Group Finance functions. Through networking and benchmarking you will be part of taking the Finance organization into a modern organization, ready to meet the challenges ahead of us.

The different teams in the Global Finance Operations are responsible for reporting and analyzing the actuals as well as reporting, consolidating and analyzing forecasts and Business Plans for all financial information including profit, cash flow, balance sheet, investments and cost control. The processes for this will be developed in close cooperation with the Business controllers in the functions as well as with the Group Finance function.

The NSC Accounting Team is responsible for complex financial accounting/closing/reporting activities for multiple National Sales Companies (eg. Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark). We are now looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team who should, together with us, perform financial accounting/closing/reporting activities for the sales companies included in the Northern European cluster. The NSC Accounting team is a part of the Northern European Cluster.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for accounting and accounting advices while performing monthly closing activities. You will actively participate in ad hoc projects and process development and will also be responsible for delivering high quality service and advices within the area of responsibility. You will identify areas of improvement and deliver in compliance with current global principles, standards and frameworks. Lastly, you will be responsible for complex analysis and reporting.

Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for an open-minded and driven team player who has good communications skills and high level of business acumen. You are motivated by working independently as well as in teams and being able to contribute on our exciting journey ahead. We believe to be successful in this role that you have a University degree in Finance or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience from finance or related business. You have knowledge of Finance processes and policies and full ability of applying these in daily operations. Ability to work and be comfortable in a dynamic environment under continuous development while keeping deadlines. Being able to work independently towards fulfilling targets and realize agreed business benefit is key. Leadership experience is preferred and being able to coach and supervise others with a business acumen. You will work in a global team so experience in executing global processes locally is a plus. We expect you to bring knowledge of Local GAAP and IFRS and experience in SAP and Hyperion is preferable. Good communication and cooperation skills as well as being fluent in English both verbally and written is required.
