Senior Design Engineer at the Component Installation group
Who we are?
The Component Installation Group is a diversified team of 18 persons that together with Body in White & Chassis Frames group and Strength Analysis & Testing group is forming department 86190 within G2P Global Product Development & Purchasing at VBC.
Our group is responsible for development, design, documentation, maintenance and quality follow-up of several systems and components on buses such as:
Fuel system, AdBlue system, pneumatic system, cooling system, steering system
Sound shields and engine encapsulation.
Chassis equipment.
Standard components like fittings, clampings, pipes, hoses etc.

Skills required for this job:
• Bachelor or university degree in engineering
• Extensive experience (>5 years) from automotive design, production or manufacturing, preferably heavy vehicles.
• You are skilled in using 3D modelling tools, preferably Catia V5.
• Human leadership skills and very good communicative skills.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Additional language knowledge is an advantage.
Some practical issues:
The position will be located in VBC offices in Arendal, Gothenburg, Sweden.
