Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge within business controlling at H&M Lifestyle Brands BU, where your actions and decisions really make a difference? Do you have a genuine passion for doing business and creating results?
We will have one Senior Business Controller in the central team at H&M Lifestyle Business Unit who will be accountable for all Southern Hemisphere Markets when it comes to Purchase Plans, System Updates and Strategic Actions. Thus, the role contains optimizing each Lifestyle category's potential to support in business decisions and with future expansion.
In the role as Senior Business Controller you will work with H&M HOME, H&M Beauty and H&M Move to support in bringing a commercial offer adapted for each product category to our SH markets. In a collaborative way of working with colleagues, both based in Stockholm and in the Southern Hemisphere markets, you will get the chance to use your competence to affect and drive the result of your markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize sustainable sales growth and profitability through strategy, analysis, and leadership by using a combination of global strength and local relevance.
Initiate and drive actionable goals that optimize the customer offer. Set and follow-up omni growth strategies for your markets
Participate in defining vision, strategy, goals and timeline together with the team leader.
Performing ongoing sales analysis and identify future potential and risk
Short- and long-term actions constantly optimizing the assortment and planning going forward.
Communicate the needs and demands of the local markets within the BU, develop current ways of working, driving system and technical development towards Sales.
Take responsibility for the controlling and secure the balance between top-down vs. bottom-up perspective.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role as Senior Business Controller, we believe you have a natural curious mindset and at work you are constantly looking for possibilities to develop new growth and more efficient ways of working. Additionally, we see that you enjoy working strategically with developing our business as well as working hands on analyzing numbers.
What you need to succeed:
A degree in business, engineering or equivalent area.
At least 2 years of experience within business controlling or merchandising.
Previous experience from Southern Hemisphere is meritorious.
A proven track record of strong performance within assortment controlling and assortment strategy.
Leadership ability (formal or informal) and a strategic mindset.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn your analysis into actions.
Salesmanship and understanding of what the customer needs.
Good communications skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
