hela Sverige On behalf of our customer we are now looking for highly motivated team players, who will work at our customers game studio in Malmö, Sweden.
Job Summary:
Our customers game studios will have several game projects running simultaneously so expect the freedom to dynamically work with a wide variety of projects and features as well as contributing to several new and old IPs.
As a Senior 2D artist, you will be a member of a highly competent team with great opportunities to learn. In addition, our customer do expect you to enjoy sharing your knowledge, best practices and experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Producing concept design in the early stages of development
• Making polished mock-ups of game screens to convey look and feel to dev team
• Create art assets for a wide range of art styles
• Design and render everything from user interfaces to in game characters, items and backgrounds
• Produce final artwork for implementation in the game
• Create marketing assets that stand out and draws attention on crowded marketplaces
• Coach the art team and help them develop as professionals
Location:
Our customers studio in Sweden, Malmö, is perfectly located on Lilla torg, right in the middle of the beautiful old parts of Malmö. It's a five-minute walk from the central station and all types of shopping and restaurants can be found right outside their doorstep.
Required skills:
• 4+ years experience from game industry
• Ability to produce realistic digital paintings
• Practical experience working with Agile development practices
• An excellent understanding of graphic design and color theory
• You have completed education or equivalent work experience in visual arts
• You are a great artist with a keen eye for quality and detail
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace having many projects running at the same time
• You are a positive team player that gladly speaks your mind
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Bonus points for:
• Experience from the gambling industry
• Passionate about games, with an interest in game-play mechanics
• Animation, VFX or 3D skills
• Interest in gambling
