About the role
• Identify relevant and adequate NMR methods to solve specific analytical characterization questions and needs
• Apply, and if needed develop, NMR methods that match the needs of the early research chemistry projects
• Planning, conducting and reporting analyses, both independently and in cooperation with others
• Writing and reviewing scientific reports within the field
• Writing SOPs when required
• Represent Analytical Chemistry in Research projects and other activities when required
• Collaborate with colleagues from R&D in Sophia-Antipolis as well as external contacts when required
About you
• You have a Ph.D. in chemistry, preferably analytical and/or organic chemistry
• You have a strong documented background in theory and practice of NMR, especially quantitative NMR and homo- and heteronuclear 2D NMR
• If you also bring experience of NMR analyses in the field of carbohydrates, polysaccharides and hydrogels it is a strong merit
• Experience in the maintenance of NMR equipment as well as experience from an industrial environment are merits
• You are a skilled writer and have experience of writing scientific reports or documents and of making oral presentations.
• You possess good communication skills; fluency in Swedish and English, both verbal and written, is required.
• Working in our Research projects requires that you reliably deliver to project goals with high quality, on time. To achieve this, you need to be highly motivated, structured and able to manage tasks simultaneously with a strong delivery focus.
• As you will be working in close collaboration with people in the group and in projects, you should be open-minded, willing to adapt to changes and enjoy working with others in a collaborative way
