hela Sverige Product Adaptations are important tools in Scania's strategy to provide customised vehicles to our customers, solutions with that very product edge that can make a deal tip over in our favor. We are now looking for a Sales Engineer who will focus on the adaptations we develop and offer to our defence customers.
Product Adaptations is responsible for offering these unique customer solutions as S-orders and FFU. The team is acting as the interface between our distributors worldwide and the head office.

The position provides opportunity to get in contact with many different parts of the Scania organisation, which means that you will build a great network. As our distributors are positioned all over the world, you will have frequent international contacts and the possibility to travel.
As a Sales Engineer your main responsibilities are:
• Together with R&D find the right technical solutions to fulfil our customers' requirements
• Support our sales teams around the world in defence tenders.
• Pricing of the offered solutions
• Actively work to evaluate and monitor S-order solutions
• Playing a key role in providing knowledge to understand the defence requirements
Your profile and experiences
You have an interest in our products and how they come to life in the hands of our customers. You are flexible and able to handle several questions at the same time.
As you will work closely with both our sales teams and our R&D departments, you need good communication skills. You are motivated by finding the best solution for the customer, and improving our processes. Commercial/technical background and a relevant university degree or similar experience is required as well as a good level of English. Knowledge from the defence business is an advantage.
