What you will do
We are currently looking for a new Sales Engineer to join our Global Marine Service (GMS) team in Norrköping. In this role, you will be responsible for the sale of Johnson Controls Marine Products & Services portfolio to maritime fleets operating globally. You will help our customers succeed in maintaining, operating, and optimizing their refrigeration and HVAC cooling equipment.
At Johnson Controls Marine & Navy, we are a market leader within HVAC/R applications for the marine industry. Our Swedish Branch in Norrköping is a leading supplier of AC chillers and provision refrigeration plants for the cruise industry.

How you will do it
• You will seek out, qualify and close simple, large & more complex sales opportunities, with a specific focus on new business growth and the establishment of long-term customer relationships/partnerships.
• You will create competitive, high quality and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analyses.
• You will utilize applicable sales tools effectively to plan and document progress as well as to increase business growth.
• You will apply knowledge of competitors' business strategies, products and services, in order to create points of difference.
• You will keep business area and local leadership informed of changes in the marketplace as well as progress on customer status.
• You will build and maintain a network of stakeholders, as well as solicit support from and communicate with the broader Johnson Controls organization to promote customer satisfaction while respecting Johnson Controls strategies, processes and tools.
What we look for
Required
• Experience with technical sales or you may be an experienced Engineer looking to move into sales.
• College or university degree.
• Fluency in English - written and verbal.
• Skilled in interpersonal communication with a proactive mindset.
Preferred
• Knowledge within the marine segment.
• Interest or flair for data science, visualization and/or programming.
