Your workplace
Security and Defence Solutions, a business area of Saab, offers command and control systems, airborne early warning systems, civil security systems and solutions, training and simulation, as well as telecom carrier.
Within Business Area Security and Defence Solutions our Communication Systems Division now looks for a Sales Director. Your focus will primarily be Sales and Business Development of our Communication solutions and products towards Swedish and selected European markets.
Your role
• You will have sales responsibility directly towards end customers and business partners
• You will meet and be key account for selected partners and various governmental procurement organisations
• You will have a close daily relationship with our customers and partners
• You will lead capture teams from early phases to contract negotiations and signing
• You will have a close cooperation with other functions within Security and Defence solutions like tender management, contract management, systems engineering, export control, product management and procurement
• You will coordinate your sales efforts with other Business Areas in Saab
Your qualifications
The person we are looking for is result oriented, has a strong business focus and is always looking for improvements and new business opportunities. You have energy and passion for achievements, coupled with demonstrated sales and marketing skills. You are a positive and confident communicator able to influence a wide range of people. Social competence is of vital importance. You need to have deep knowledge and understanding of governmental sales and procurement processes. Experience from business with Swedish authorities and authorities with in European Union as well as a proven sales result in business to business is a merit. You need to be fluent in English and Swedish. We also value a technical education as ground and knowledge related to our technical systems in our offers.
