Battery power is on the rise! From today's electric bikes, electric scooters, and cars, to tomorrow's airplanes and electric grids, the potentially transformative effect of batteries on society is yet hard to grasp. However, even if batteries are solving some concrete problems today, there is a long way to go before they truly solve society's challenges of tomorrow

Enter Nortical: we build a cloud-based battery analytics platform that helps make sense of batteries, which helps make batteries live longer and be used, and reused, more sustainably and efficiently.

Nortical has been taking huge strides towards that goal over the past two years, we have built a great team of 9 and have taken on customers like Voi and Scania.

As we grow, we are now looking for driven Business Developers who can help us reach out to companies internationally and help save the batteries of tomorrow - Not just in the world, but for the world.

What You 'll Do

As a part of the commercial team at Nortical, your main responsibility will be reaching out to potential customers and partners to evangelize about the possibilities surrounding battery analytics.

We are looking for many types of people - both junior and senior, to join our expansive adventure. The exact role will be fluid and your tasks tailored to who you are - and the level of responsibility that you're confident with.

Of course, being a start-up company, everyone wears several hats and the specific tasks will vary greatly, from speaking at industry events, traveling the world to meet partner companies, being part of the company's commercial strategy and negotiating contracts with global OEMs

Key Qualifications

To be successful at this job, we believe that you need to be both communicative, creative, and driven as a person and have an interest in technology that can help the environment. Of course, it would be helpful if you're knowledgeable about the problems surrounding batteries and electrification - as these are the problems you will help solve.

Bonus Skills

We believe that you will have a large advantage coming from a developer background, preferably with a focus on cloud-based systems, AI/ML applications, and/or data pipelines. We would prefer it if you can challenge our choices in architecture and service design! Finally, it is highly meritorious if you have had previous experience in working close to battery-powered products and/or in the domain of electrification.
