Our safety coordinators and safety engineers ensure that the delivered systems are safe and fulfil the expectations of the public.
The safety coordinator provides leadership to ensure that all safety aspects are considered. He/she shall make sure that the necessary safety activities and their documentation are done on time and has the right quality for a safety approval of the system. He/she will also be the contact person for external parties in safety issues (customer, assessor, national safety authority etc.).
The safety engineer initiates and performs safety and risk analyses to evaluate the safety of different system solutions.
Both the safety coordinator and the safety engineer shall be able to contribute to the improvement of the region's safety processes, and to have the capability to develop in the direction of validation. For the right person, there are career options both in terms of technical and people leadership.
YOUR ROLE
• You will coordinate safety work in bids and customer projects;
• You will initiate and perform hazard/risk analyses;
• You will participate in development of safety processes, improvement activities;
• You will prepare the project safety plan and will monitor every safety-related activity of the project is executed;
• You will be responsible in coordinating all the safety activities;
• You will work independently and will have the support of the line team.
Master or Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Electronics or Computer Science;
2 years of experience as safety coordinator, safety engineer or systems engineer;
Experience and knowledge in safety engineering and safety coordination work;
Knowledge of CENELEC standards (railway industry) - or equivalent from other industries
Experience in railway industry is an asset
English and Swedish at a business fluent level is mandatory.
