Job description
• Design high performance RF circuit architectures and RF/Analog circuit blocks for CMOS RF transceiver products, using deep sub-micron CMOS technologies, e.g.: PA, Modulator, Driver Amplifier, LNA, Mixer, VCO, LO Generation, Baseband Filter, VGA, etc.
• Do floor plan and layout with best-practice layout techniques.
• Design bench-level test plans and validate, characterize, and debug the designs through high-volume production.
Required competence
• 5+ years of experience in RF/Analog CMOS design. Solid fundamentals in RF CMOS implementation of circuit building blocks including LNA, mixers, VCO, LO, and PA.
• Experience designing and bringing into volume production RF transceivers in deep sub-micron RFCMOS technology.
• Familiarity with various RF transceiver architectures and their trade-offs, as well as demonstrated capability to work with digital design group.
• Solid understanding of RF device modeling.
• Insights into packaging effects, supply isolations, high frequency ESD structures, and circuit layout for performance.
• Familiar with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre RF, and similar tools.
• Speak/write English.
Start: October
Duration: 12 months with possibility for further extension.
Location: Lund
Required languages: Swedish & English
