Job Summary:
The position holder is the owner of the Retail Development & Key Account's (RD & KAM) execution plan and as such supports the management team in the successful and efficient running of the function, governance, special projects, activities and events
Responsible for driving and supporting strategic and business development projects in various retail-related areas

Main tasks
Own and drive the Retail Development & Key Accounts Execution Plan process and follow-up, facilitating the negotiation and agreement of deliverables from the function to key stakeholders
Responsible for setting and driving the RD & KAM function's governance, including the internal coordination of management meetings
Develop and drive the implementation of the function's communication plan
Responsible for maintaining the overall planning concerning QES activities and RD initiatives towards Owned Dealers. This includes the set-up of effective collaboration and filing tools
Provide pro-active support to the Head of RD & KAM and management team.
Prepare reports and presentations in close collaboration with the Head of RD & KAM and functional leads
Drive and support strategic and business development projects in various retail-related areas
Responsible for maintaing the RD & KAM project portfolio, collaborating closely with other functions, stakeholders and sales regions. This includes the full follow-up of projects, assignments and implementations
Own the team's Volvo Retail System roll-out, Continuous Improvement and Audit plans, ensuring an effective execution and follow-up
Organize, coordinate and follow up meetings and events, including logistics (including customer events and key account factory visits)

Key Skills
Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills able to work in a multi-cultural organisation
Pragmatic, business-driven mind-set with knowledge of dealer and sales operations
Prepared and confident to research and analyze a wide area of retail-related topics, making recommendations and informing decision-making
Ability to provide constructive solutions to problems in various areas
Ability to facilitate team activities - motivate, lead and energize individuals
Experience in project management with solid organisation and prioritisation skills

Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position
Educated to degree level in a business discipline with a minimum of five years industry experience
Fluent in English, written and spoken, other languages an advantage
