What is Responsible Business at Telenor?
Responsible Business is a team of 6 experts within Compliance, Privacy, Sustainability & Quality. The team advise the company on subject issues and lead projects within their specific area.
What you'll do
As Responsible Business Manager you will be a key team player in the Responsible Business team. You will support in policy implementation, assist colleagues with responsible business related queries and drive tasks/smaller projects for the responsible business team.
The role includes to improve internal and external communication on Responsible Business and support in reporting to Senior Management, Telenor Group and other stakeholders
The role includes:
* Support and partly lead the policy implementation work, covering e.g. communication with policy managers, follow-up on implementation tasks and prepare reporting
* Advise the company on basic responsible business and compliance matters, with the ability to balance risks and business interests
* Lead specific tasks within the Responsible Business team such as joint training plan, draft process for business partner questionnaires
* Support and partly lead the contract management work
* Assist in driving Responsible Business training initiatives, e-learnings as well as prepare classroom trainings
* Follow-up on actions points from Internal Audits, Authority supervisions - to ensure we do what we are obliged to do
* Contribute to continuous improvement and maintenance of governance related work processes and steering documents
Who are you
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a highly collaborative manner. You have a positive, "can do" attitude and perform your work with pride. You have previous knowledge in responsible business and have the ability to work with details as well as seeing the bigger picture. You are solution oriented, efficient, structured, dedicated and not afraid to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities. You will report to the Head of Responsible Business & Compliance.
* Degree at Bachelor level (or higher) on law, political science, sustainability, CSR or equal
* Few years' experience from responsible business, compliance, governance, CSR, sustainability, privacy, risk or similar
* Great interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Uncompromising integrity
* Previous experience from NGO's/similar is a merit
* Experience from leading projects is a merit
* Understanding of agile way of work is a merit
