Consultant assignment as Scientific Expert
On behalf of our client we are now looking for a candidate to work in a team to contribute to the surveillance and response support. This assignment is placed in Stockholm.
The role
The role as scientific expert is administrative and will focused on surveillance and Response support
The assignment is planned to start from October and last until the end of the year 2017, with chance to be prolonged
Main working tasks may include;
• Contribute to the collection, validation, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of scientific data
• Review of EU/EEA surveillance of hepatitis
• Compile prevalence database for hepatitis
• Contribute to development of surveillance tools
• Communicate routine surveillance data in a timely manner via peer-reviewed publications, presentations at conferences, reports and web content
• Develop and support projects in the area of surveillance of hepatitis, HIV and blood borne diseases

Qualification
• Master of Science with major in Global health or Public health
• Public Health background and professional experience within medical science
• Experience within surveillance and response support
• Experience from World Health Organization or equal organization
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
Skills and Capabilities
• Able to work collaboratively is crucial
• It-software skills (STATA, SPSS, Comprehensive Meta-Analysis, RevMan)
• Attention to details, highly organized
