AMASS (Architecture-driven, Multi-concern and Seamless Assurance and Certification of Cyber-Physical Systems) is expected to build on top of results achieved in the context of OPENCOSS and n/p SafeCer projects. AMASS targets increased efficiency via reuse and seamless interoperability in the context of Cyber Physical Systems development and certification. The research in AMASS will be performed in close collaboration with industrial partners.
We are offering two research assistant positions in the area of (variability) modelling of architectural specifications, development processes, and assurance cases within the ECSEL AMASS research project.
The goals of this position are:
• Aiding MDH researchers in modelling (the variability of) architectural specifications, development processes and assurance cases within the AMASS context.
• Cooperating with industrial partners in the collection of data and analysis of research related projects.
• In collaboration with senior researchers and PhD students, contributing to scientific publications in the areas of variability modelling.
It is a temporary employment until December 2017.
The applicant is required to have a bachelor's degree in computer science or in areas related to the AMASS project's context.
Decisive importance is attached to personal suitability. We value the qualities that an even distribution of age and gender, as well as ethnic and cultural diversity, can contribute to the organization.

MDH in Eskilstuna and Västerås is one of Sweden's biggest university colleges with its 15 000 students and 900 employees. It has a long tradition of cooperating with society and has entered strategic agreements with both the public and the private sector. Most study programmes fall into four main areas: economy, health and welfare, education, and technology. With its research, which often takes the form of co-production on the regional, national and global levels, MDH aims to generate useful solutions for societal development. In 1999, MDH was the world's first university to be environmentally certified, and in 2006, it was the first higher education institution in Sweden to be certified for its work environment.
