What we offer
The ART Electrical HW System Design offers the possibility to work with a mixture of EDS, Electrical Design, ELP and EMC related issues for all vehicle lines within Volvo Cars.
As a release train engineer, RTE, for this ART you will be part of one the largest ART 's at Volvo involving over 30 different teams with a large variety of products.
What you'll do
You will work closely with the product owners for the ART, with the Product managers and with the management team. Since the ART is so big you will share the responsibility with one other RTE and a Test Leader creating the possibility to share responsibility and learn from each other. As a Release train engineer you will be a servant leader and coach for the ART by driving and organizing the ART events and assist the teams in their deliveries.
Areas of responsibilities:
* Manage and optimize the flow through the ART
* Establish and communicate the annual rolling calendar for iterations and program increments (PI).
* Organize, drive and facilitate the PI planning event.
* Assist with execution and feature/capability completion tracking
* Provide input to address critical bottlenecks
* Report status and collaborate with the Solution Train Engineer (STE) and support related activities
* Keep track of supplier deliveries and planned actions
You and your skills
We see that you have leadership experience from before; this is not a first-time job as a leader.
You have a several years of experience from working with harness related tasks, components or electrical design and are well versed in the harness manufacturing process. Experience from the automotive industry and harness development experience is meritorious.
You have a University degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience and your English is fluent (written and spoken).
KDP and Teamcenter experience is meritorious together with knowledge about Volvo Cars product development process.
