As Regional Procurement Specialist you will act as gatekeeper with our local stakeholders to handle local supply/supplier issues. You will contribute and drive local change management and continuous improvements projects to improve supplier performance.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Ensure that the suppliers selected in sourcing strategies are used locally at the best commercial condition
• Reach out to the sourcing organization and ensure that prices are timely updated
• Secure delivery
• Balance local requirements versus AkzoNobel sourcing strategy: optimize stock level, lead time and provide forecast if material is very tight
• Responsible for the local delivery of sourcing strategy
• Responsible for commercial negotiations
• Manage local and plant specific suppliers
• Contribute to, and lead, local continuous improvement projects
Job requirements/Candidate profile
You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Procurement-, or Supply chain role, with a detailed level of understanding of the Purchase-to-Pay process. You hold a relevant degree within the field of economics/procurement or equivalent.
Professional
• BA required (Master preferred)
• Successful, multi-year track record in Procurement and Supplier Management or similar experience
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good planning/project management skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Distinctive leadership
• Comfortable with conflict
• Able to work in a dual reporting matrix
As a person you are responsible, result oriented and communicative. You are a team player with a high level of customer orientation. You have a proactive work style and you take initiative for improvements. You are able to handle and analyze data and based on that make reasonable decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English are required.

This is a permanent position on a fulltime basis, reporting to the Regional Procurement Manager Nordics.
