Publiceringsdatum2012-11-08Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are looking for you that wants to take on a role as a lead accountant in an international environment. This position's basic function is to perform monthly closing activities ensuring accurate, timely and complete processing and coding of transactions, and ensures that taxation is timely and accurate filed with the tax authorities and to optimize cash flow. The position primarily reports to the A&F Manager.
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be as follows;
• Responsible for the timely month end close process
• Producing and posting correct G/L entries to ensure maintainence of a precise general ledger
• Responsible for the reconciliation of the balance sheet, including reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts as well as supporting other team members in there reconciliation work
• Tax reporting
• Analyze financial data and prepare management reports and statements.
• Analysis of the G/L accounts to ensure correctness, using experience and problem solving
• Responsible for maintaining the Special Purpose Ledger including analyzing the differences between US and Swedish GAAP and maintain all specifications needed.
• Responsible for producing the Annual report
• Create documents requested by the external auditors.
• Responsible for the process of approving parties for Business Courtesy.
• Responsible for maintaining the local coding manual
• Evaluate and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards
• Developing procedures and identifying improvement opportunities within the Accounting area.
Vem är du?
We are looking for you with the following qualifications and experience;
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting with minimum 6 years of experience as senior accountant is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and month end close procedures including local GAAP, US GAAP and SOX.
• Knowledge of both US and Swedish accounting standards.
• Experience of VAT reporting for local tax purposes and income tax calculations.
• Extensive accounting, reporting and finance experience working with a multinational corporation managing complex intercompany relationships.
• SAP systems experience or other similar ERP system.
• Thorough understanding and experience from using excel.
• Fluent and effective oral and written communication skills in English and Swedish are required.

Furthermore it is of importance that you keep focus even during time where you have to work under pressure.It is of great value if you are a highly focused team player with good skills in communication and an ability to effectively maintain relationships.
