The Job
Rebtel is growing at a fast pace. Our system is up and running 24/7 and we act on a market with high competition. This sets high demands on what we deliver. However, the atmosphere is open and our staff is very committed to working together to reach our high goals.
As a PC Client Developer at Rebtel you will get the opportunity to take an overall responsibility for our PC client. That includes everything from architecture to implementation of UX, and both new development as well as maintenance. You will be part of building innovative client solutions to serve a growing and fast moving user base. You will also actively take part in making sure that our applications meet Rebtel quality standards.
Your Profile
To fit, we think you need to have experience from developing clients for the consumer market. You are a skilled C# developer with experience from real time communication. Experience from additional platforms (Mac, Android, iPhone) and/or WPF, SIP/VoIP, PJSIP are highly appreciated!
You are a self motivated person with good communication skills. You can drive the technical decisions and you like to interact with several departments within the company.
You have a creative mind and feeds on new technology. Rebtel is a start-up company that has managed to nurture wild ideas and evolve them into high quality services. We live in the low margin world where a lean organization battles with the need to excel and deliver high standard solutions in a never sleeping, transaction intense environment. Therefore you need to be a creative person with a sense of structure. Your quality standards are high, but you can balance that with a sometimes high work load. Even though we are a Swedish based company we work in an international environment. Our customers are spread out over the world and many of our employees are from outside Sweden, e.g. from Russia, Canada, Mexico, Morocco, India, Pakistan and Venezuela. Therefore you need excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. If you know Swedish it is a great bonus.
