Fazer Retail business unit is investing in growth in Sweden and Finland with the Gateau and Fazer Café brands. We are now looking for a Controller, who wants to be part of the journey to take Fazer Retail to the next level of profitable growth. We are a relatively small and fast-footed organization with high ambitions and in the process of building our business and processes.
This position will provide you a possibility to contribute to the development of Fazer Retail from finance point of view. Responsibilities consist of basic finance admin tasks as well financial and some business controlling tasks.
Your responsibilities include:
• Responsibility of Retail Sweden P&L ad balance sheet incl. monthly, quarterly, and yearly period end closing tasks, e.g., accruals and allocations
• Forecasting, budgeting, long-term-planning processes for Retail Sweden
• Management reporting
• Coordination of finance tasks with Fazer Shared Finance Function
• IT system testing and development from finance point of view
• Coordination of Internal Controls
• Annual PCI-audit
• Power BI maintenance and development
You will report to the Head of Finance at Fazer Retail in Finland, and the location for this position will be preferably in Skogås, Stockholm, but also Vaarala, Finland can be discussed.

What you'll bring to the team?
Analytical thinking and business-oriented mindset are needed to succeed in this position. You are a structured team player with flexibility and ability to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Your approach is proactive, efficient, and systematic and you are eager to learn and to actively develop further your own area of responsibility. You want to develop your expertise in finance and accounting, and you are confident that you can handle multiple overlapping tasks under tight schedules and in constant change.
You are proficient especially in Excel and you communicate fluently in English and preferably also in Swedish. Experience from Power BI development and Finnish skills are considered as assets. Your professionalism is based on e.g. a M. Sc. / BBA with focus on finance and a few years of experience in controlling roles in finance.
