hela Sverige You will be part of High Voltage Cables in Karlskrona. We manufacture high voltage cables for installation on land and offshore. In the workshop, we have a unique production environment for the latest cable technology on the market. Here we create efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable high technological transmission systems for a worldwide market.
Tasks:
As R&D Development Engineer you will take part in the development of cable systems contributing to a more sustainable environment and components within a renewable energy system. The cable systems are designed only at a handful of factories worldwide. At the R&D department, you will be part of a highly skilled team of fourteen coworkers managing both smaller and larger development projects. Your main objective will be to lead a development project for DC cables together with both the production as well as the high voltage and material laboratory.
It will be your responsibility to:
• Lead a project team as well as discuss and develop the technology
• Define and initiate material and high voltage tests
• Ensure the tests to be performed correctly, together with the high voltage laboratory
• Design, initiate and, together with the production department, manufacture experiment cables
• Deliver according to set goals and within budget

Requirements:
You hold a Master's degree in Engineering, or a Bachelor's degree along with relevant work experience. To successfully take on this position, you need experience from DC cables. Skills in development and engineering will also be to your advantage. Furthermore, fluency in English is a requirement. If not fluent in Swedish, you need to have the will to learn the language. As part of a motivated and well-educated team, you need to be self-confident as well as driven and persistent. Equally important is your innovative mind, creativity and strong focus on always reaching great results.
