The Quality Control team within Quality & Production Engineering department at Tetra Pak Processing Production Centre Lund is a highly dedicated and quality focused team, responsible for an area that ranges from quality control, pressure testing and inspection of incoming goods and ongoing production in our workshop.
In the role as Quality Inspector you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with interesting and varying tasks.
Many of your assignments include frequent interactions with other colleagues such as welders and assemblers.
Tetra Pak Processing Production Centre Lund assemble and test key components and processing units for the food industry. We prioritise Safety First and are working with continuous improvements according to the philosophy of WCM - World Class Manufacturing.
Main tasks
• Visual inspection of goods and in production (mainly weld inspections)
• Dimension control of details against drawing
• Inspections of tanks and vessels
• Documentation and report writing (e.g. SOP:s and claim reports)
• Participation in quality project, WCM teams and investigations
• Review of certificates and pressure vessel documentation
Qualifications
We are looking for a positive, quality focused and responsible person with a high degree of integrity and a talent to collaborate and work in teams. You need to be clear in your communication, both verbally and in writing, and you should not fear to make inconvenient decisions. High accuracy is a basic requirement as well as a professional response to both colleagues, suppliers and customers.
To be successful in this position, you have at least three years of experience from working with quality in manufacturing industry. We believe that you have at least a post-secondary technical education. Experience from quality control, welding manufacturing, WCM and technique of measurement is an advantage. The position requires that you have excellent skills both verbally and written in Swedish and in English.
