About the role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to a customer. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products comply with all regulatory requirements and standards, with a focus on safety-related aspects.

This role involves keeping the organization updated on product requirements and standards to minimize legal and financial risks. Responsibilities include supporting product development to ensure compliance with laws and industry standards, providing training on regulatory requirements, and coordinating audits and inquiries with regulatory authorities.

In your role as Quality Assurance Manager your main tasks will involve:

* Develop certification plans for product projects.
* Support accident investigations, injury management, and safety performance monitoring.
* Actively participate in development projects.
* Identify and address issues and challenges, providing support in finding solutions.
* Balance short-term project requirements with long-term departmental plans.
* Conduct ongoing research and analysis of government rules and regulations.
* Collaborate on continuous improvements in safety and regulatory compliance within the organization.
* Participate in standards technical committees.

The position is a consulting assignment starting immediately to the end of December 2024.

About you

Important for the role:

* Bachelor 's degree in engineering or a related field
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written
* Good computer skills
* At least 5 years of experience working with product safety, regulations, standards and liability
