hela Sverige We are now looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer on behalf of a exciting product company in central Gothenburg.
The Company
The company makes web browsers for computers, mobile phones, tablets and TVs. Their aim is to shape an open, connected world, giving users the best internet experience on any device and any platform. Their passion is to create products and services to bring the whole world online.
They are contributing to and implementing new web standards and tweaking and optimizing a massive code base to behave well on limited Android devices and TVs. They are also creating beautiful user interfaces on iOS and Android, while constantly striving to improve and innovate the mobile browsing experience even further. One of their biggest creations have about 250 million users.
The job
They are now looking for an exceptional and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team and continue the innovation and development of technology that enables and improves the internet experience for millions of people. You will join a group of the industry's best engineers working in very close collaboration on the evolution of their product.
The company is in the technical forefront, they work in advanced systems and they build a lot of the programs they work in. They work a lot with open source projects.
Responsibilities
• Take initiative and ensure delivery of high quality products.
• Plan, prepare and execute tests for new functionalities.
• Design and implement automated tests and test systems.
• Adapt to and learn new technologies.
• Prioritize what is relevant and important.
You
You have a genuine interest in technology, you are passionate about quality assurance, you are a good programmer and have the ability to take responsibility for your own development projects. At the same time you feel motivated by solving problems, to go to the bottom with abnormalities in the data and sometimes be a bit of a detective.
Requirements
• Experience of Python, C/C++ or Javascript
• Drive and commitment to work in a highly dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated, structured, quality-driven and able to take initiative.
• Ability to automate work.
• Experience with working on Linux.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
Meriting
• Good knowledge about networks and networking protocols.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Experience with large scale server environments.
