The Global Hygiene Category (GHC) leads SCA’s hygiene brand portfolio and delivers brand development and innovation for our three business areas; Incontinence Care, Consumer Goods and Professional Hygiene.
Within GHC, we are searching for a Manager (Test Products & Specification Administration) to our Laboratory Services team within R&D Personal Care Core.
The Manager Test Products & Specification Administration is responsible for securing the right competence and resources to support GHC Personal Care in test product manufacturing and specification administration. The Manager Test Products & Specification Administration is further responsible for securing timely and high quality supply of drawings, specification and prototypes/test products internally in SCA.
You will manage a team with two different competence areas and have 15 people reporting directly to you. The role is located in Gothenburg.
Main Tasks
Secure the right competence and resources for test products, specification administration and CAD to support GHC Personal Care
Organize and provide first line support in specification administration and CAD drawings for GHC Personal Care
Secure timely supply of drawings, specification and test products internally in SCA
Lead, develop and optimize the Test products & Specification administration staff
Plan and lead the work within Test products & Specification administration team within set frames and budget and in accordance with the 8Q launch plan requirements
Proactively monitor and maintain agreed performance and delivery standards based on SCA internal requirements
Create conditions and implement tools and processes for the Test products & Specification administration team to execute tasks in an effective and efficient way
Keep abreast of developments, procedures and practices within own areas to ensure that appropriate methods and tools are adopted and implemented
Maintain compliance with all appropriate regulatory and safety requirements within the team’s operations. Is responsible for securing working environment/ safety for own area through a systematic way of working with risk evaluation/prevention, trainings etc.
Experience and Key Competencies
Required Education & Experience
University Degree or equivalent within technical field
At least 2 years’ leadership experience and proven strong leadership skills
At least 5 years’ experience within production or R&D
Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written
International work orientation or experience is an advantage
Key competencies & Leadership capabilities
Leadership: Ability to lead a team of both specialists and technicians, ability to engage key stakeholder audience
Good understanding of product development/material development and business demands on prototyping and specification administration tasks
Has courage – has a can do attitude
Collaborates and communicates effectively
Business expertise: management of resource planning including budgeting expertise
Problem solving: Ability to align business priorities and deliver with limited resources
Customer and consumer driven: Service minded, is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of business needs
Can effectively cope with change and shift gears comfortably
Understanding of requirements for Medical Devices is an advantage
