We are now searching for a Project Manager within the development division Business Support Systems and Service Area Interior on behalf of our client. Applicants should have experience from leading larger projects with several IT sub-projects.

Service area Interior supports Global Expansion with software products required to manage the store expansion. This includes CAD, PLM, order and store project database solutions. Global Expansion is responsible for all aspects of creating our clients stores; to lease, design, draw, buy and build each store. In 2015 a net total of 413 new stores were added and we aim to continue this growth and increase the number of stores by 10 - 15 % per year.

We are looking for a strong project manager to join us for an exciting challenge in transforming our internally developed core system, used in +60 countries enterprise wide, into a new improved solution. The transformation will be driven as a program together with Global Expansion during the coming 3-4 years.

The role is Project Manager IT in the program that will work the long term planning, pre-project work and coordinate ongoing IT sub-projects. The Project Manager IT will be working in collaboration with Business IT program manager, who is the main responsible manager for the program. Currently the program is under initiation. The role could also become IT project manager of one of the projects in the program.

You will be situated in Stockholm (Marievik).

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility to lead, support and follow-up the operational work regarding defined IT-projects within the program.
• Supports the Business IT program manager in reporting to the Program steering group.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Plan for the IT part of the project.
• Experience from managing a number of IT sub-projects and IT project managers.
• Acting IT-Project Manager in specific sub-projects.
• Measure and monitor progress to ensure that the project meets its expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary.
• Secure best practice way of working is followed and that relevant deliverables are produced on time with right quality.
• Manage cooperation and coordinate work between different sub-projects and teams.
• Ensure that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members.
• Represent the project team at program meetings and steering groups meetings.
• Obtain buy-in from senior stakeholders for all key project plans, commitments, and changes.
• Ensure that the end product fulfills the projects goal and expectations.

Required competence:

• General: IT Project Management within software development and technical architecture assessments.
• Governance: Ability to establish project governance and facilitate governance activities. Certified project manager, know your methods, foremost PPS and use relevant tools to succeed
• Coordination of sub-projects: Experience from coordination of a number of sub-projects true project managers.
• Work Planning: Ability to enable right methodology/approach to accomplish timely completion of project deliverables.
• Scope and Requirements Management: Ability to define how project scope and requirements will be managed, controlled, verified, and communicated to project teams and stakeholders.
• Reporting: Ability to enable right generation, collection and distribution of project progress and status information to project stakeholders as well as taking corrective action as necessary.
• Resources: Ability to manage the human resources component of project. E.g. organization, defining roles and responsibilities, resource plan, participating in resource acquisition, providing feedback.
• Issue & Risk Management: Ability to enable technique to identify, analyze, track, manage, and resolve project issues and risks as well as dependencies.
• Collaboration: Ability to leverage others (people, group, services, capabilities) to achieve maximum project results.
• Standard system: Previous experience of standard systems including configurations and integrations.
• Procurements: Previous experience of leading software product procurements following defined processes (RFI/RFP)
• Orderer PM: Previous experience to act as a Orderer Project Manager representing the Customer where a vendor executes the configuration and integration of a standard product.

Preferred competence:
• Offshore: Previous experience to lead a team based on distributed resources, preferably from India.
• Collaboration with Agile teams: Ability to work with Agile (SCRUM) development/maintenance teams that perform the actual software development.

Required additional skills/experience:
• Five or more years of working as Project Manager
• Strong leadership qualities and fully owning your responsibility is expected
• Well-developed relationship building skills with a business-oriented mindset
• Are constantly looking for possibilities to improve things, social, open, communicative and business-minded
• Excellent command of English and Swedish in speaking and writing
• Structured and well documented deliverables
• Strong communication skills
