In this position you will work with change management initiatives that are all part of the Purchasing Development Road Map decided by CPO Indirect and CPO Direct Purchasing. Furthermore you will interact with a wide variety of global stakeholders.
Example of initiatives led by the Purchasing Development organization:
• Governance initiatives such as creating an operating model for the purchasing organization.
• Defining one of our global purchasing processes (ex. Supplier Management) in close collaboration with the purchasing professionals and other stakeholders to secure buy in and that requirements are met. Drive standardization to the extent that is optimal for Getinge purchasing organizations, adaption to local needs might be needed.
• Continuous improvement of existing purchasing processes (ex. category management, sourcing process) such as launch of new way of working (tools, templates etc.) to contribute to work efficiency of the sourcing professionals. Improvement need defined e.g. through input from purchasing professionals or external benchmark.
• Implement decided ways of working through trainings and meetings with all levels within the purchasing organization.
• Facilitate the learning and development agenda for the purchasing organization such as defining purchasing competences and how to work with these.
The position is located at our brand new corporate head office in Lindholmen, Gothenburg. The role requires international travel, approximately 20-25 % of the time. You will be reporting to the Director Purchasing Development.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
• Academic degree, preferably within Technology, Finance or Economics.
• Minimum of five years of experience within purchasing, direct or indirect.
• Experience from Project Management, Change Management and Purchasing in global environments.
• Experience within supplier management is an advantage.
• Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Your strong interpersonal skills and integrity enable you to influence internal stakeholders and you have the patience and confidence to take lead on change processes. You have strong analytical, planning, organizing and reporting skills and a willingness to operate within a dynamic and fast-paced organization, sometimes without clear guidance.
