Scania is looking for an experienced project manager who can run a multinational project to implement the new European Data Protection Regulation at Scania.

Main responsibilities
Manage the Data protection @ Scania project on behalf of Scania's management.
The position consists of all aspect of project management, including to:
• steer and plan the project and its resources
• secure the implementation and delivery of the project across the Scania organisation
• secure that necessary cross functional decisions within the company are taken
• report regularly on the project's progress to management etc.
You will work in close cooperation with various parts of the organisation to: .Perform a gap-analysis comparing the current situation vs future requirements due to the new European Data Protection Regulation
• set a policy for data protection and integrity
• develop and execute an implementation plan for the project, including potential sub-projects
• define Scania's future data protection governance structure
You will be based in Södertälje, Sweden, and report to Scania's Data Protection Officer.

Profile
You have an university degree and several years of working experience from project management within areas such as compliance, audit, legal, IT or finance.

You are organized and structured, have good collaborative skills and the ability to get things done. You take initiative, prioritise, meet deadlines, and act without prestige. You are self-motivated and driven and you show high engagement and commitment. You also have strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.

You will work in an international and multicultural environment, so it is important that you have an open mind and curiosity for different economic and social cultures. Fluency in both written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of Swedish and also German, as well as experience of managing personnel are considered further qualifications.
