hela Sverige The Project Manager is a key member of the Verisure IT Group. The role will be based in our Malmö R&D center with occasional European travel required.
The position will be instrumental in coordinating the IT activities of the team. The role will serve as the key connection point between a wide range of local stakeholders and the IT team to ensure that tasks are clearly understood, and the necessary IT resources allocated in a timely manner to ensure that deadlines are met with the required deliverables.
The position will need to work closely with other PMO organizations within the Technology Delivery function to understand plans and needs that will require the support of the group. You will support and coordinate work on both tactical projects and programs as well as more strategic and explorative workstreams.
Main Responsibilities
Key tasks include but are not limited to:
• Liaise with project managers and other colleagues from other functions to obtain clearly written technical briefs and project objectives for future or evolving design support requests.
• Work closely with technical leads to provide accurate estimates of resources, time and budget needs for any requested assignment prior to formulating an IT planning response.
• Accurately track IT projects and mitigate any potential risks for the delay in delivering design work as part of the agreed project assignment.
• Work closely with the IT PMO Director to estimate annual resource planning as part of the annual budget and operations planning cycle.
• Build and maintain close working relationships at all levels
• Accurately forecast IT planning on a quarterly basis to clearly understand how current resource allocations compare with the annual resource plan. Highlighting improvement areas in the process or ways of working.
• Drive continuous improvement in terms of planning, resource management and time to delivery metrics.
• Lead the planning of all IT related activities from projects, workstream initiatives, group off-sites, and project reviews.
• Advocate for new tools, methodologies and better practices to drive project management within the IT PMO.
Required Qualifications
• University degree in Project Management or a Management subject, preferably a BA or BSc degree.
• 5+ years of experience working as a project manager within a Corporate Group or reputable Consultancy.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, clients, functional leaders, developers and engineers.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects across sites and or cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in appropriate planning tools is essential.

• Comfortable delivering multiple technology stacks and off-piste projects
• Understands and operates in a manner capable of delivering the needs and demands of a Project Manager in a challenging and constantly evolving and mutating organisation
• Adaptable and friendly but with a challenging and negotiation biased demeanor
• A match to our culture, the successful candidate will have high energy, flexibility, fantastic communication skills (both written and verbal) and huge amounts of drive.
• Pro-active, driven and willing to listen, observe and understand people's needs.
• Familiar with current home security / smart home technologies, future developments and understand the partnerships and use cases behind them is an advantage.
