hela Sverige We are looking for a structured, self-driven and communicative Project Manager who wants to be a part of our Project Office and help us deliver the support solution for the new Gripen fighter to Brazil and Swedish Airforce.
Your role
In the role as Project Manager GSE (Ground Support Equipment) you will be responsible for the GSE-project with all its deliveries. The project is a vital part in our Gripen E-project organization with deliveries both to Sweden and to Brazil.
You are a member of the project staff and you are responsible for time and finances and to lead and support the project members. Your contacts for the deliveries will, in addition to your project group, be your head project manager, reference group and line representatives and in some cases the end customer. As a project manager your responsibility is to keep track of the whole instead of focusing too much on details.
Your main tasks are to:
• Carry out the project and reach its result according to the requirements and directive
• Lead, plan, distribute and control the project work.
• Coordinate, inform and support project members
• Keep your other stakeholders updated on progress and status
Your profile
You have a few years experience as project manager or similar from complex projects or organizations. You are communicative and self-driven and enjoy working in a technical environment. You are strategic and you understand the importance of breaking down deliveries inte manageable bits together with your project team.
Required skills (in bullet form):
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electronics or Computer Engineering or similar
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Self driven and creative, taking initiatives
• English, verbal and written
Desired skills (in bullet form):
• Experience from technical development projects
• Experience in working in a geographically distributed project environment
• Some experience from strategic procurement
• Background/interest for management/leadership
What you will be a part of
Business unit Gripen Support manages Gripen business within Support and Services and provides a focal point for Gripen customers and partners. We provide support and support solutions for the Gripen system including a range of products and services.
You will become part of Gripen Support's Project Office and collaborate with collegues in an environment that fosters career development and personal growth. The Project Office is part of the Contract and Project Management department, which is responsible for ensuring efficient execution of contracts and projects. We support our business with competences like Project Management, Project Planning and Risk and Opportunity Coordination.
This position could include access to classified information. Therefore, you will be required to conduct a security assessment in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
