We currently have the following job opening;
Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering
As Project Engineer ME, you work in the Module Team ME Projects within Manufacturing Engineering CEVT. ME Projects is responsible to lead project coordination and project management in ME, and work together with all ME functional teams (stamping, Body, Paint, Trim & Car Final, Geometry). You are also working in a global project level with CEVT and Geely colleagues, who are located in Sweden and China.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Coordinate cross-functional or global meetings as chairman or facilitator for ME related business.
• Driving operational development tasks from CEVT or ME Unit level.
• Taking responsibility for ME related process setting and way of working.
• Leading and supporting task for Issue Tracking and Part Change Request Process, and make improvements in IT system.
• Coordinating and driving ME related IT issues (TeamCenter, CATIA, Process Simulate, Line builder System, Data Transfer, EBOM/MBOM,etc).
• Supporting ME Project planning to align the projects timing, allocate resource, or improve ME activities.
• Leading and supporting ME functional teams for program gate status and KPI reporting.
• Keep flexibility to support ad-hoc project in ME or minimum level of administrative tasks.
Requirements
• University degree or similar in Engineering.
• Experience in R&D or Manufacturing from automotive industry.
• Understanding of vehicle development process.
• Ability to drive, present ideas
• Ability to make decisions in a changing environment.
• Good communication and presentation skill.
• Fluency in English both oral and written
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian – European
• Ability to develop and apply solutions to complex problems
• Creative problem solving skills
• Ability to travel
