Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S) is a new entity within the Volvo Group with the mission to offer transport solutions never seen before. We accelerate the development, commercialization, and sales of autonomous transport solutions, focusing on defined segments for the on- and off-road space. The Digital and IT team is a new and growing team at Volvo Autonomous Solutions. Our mission is to enable the digital side of V.A.S. to transform from an internal start-up to a scale up. We work with our customers and partners to enable digital business models. We facilitate the work inside V.A.S. to secure that we have the right tools for the job and to succeed we fluently mix working with ambitious strategies as well as with hands on implementations.
Who are you?
We are looking for a Program Manager to manage complex projects or programs. If you have experience as a Project Manager at the senior level, you have the right profile.
As a foundation, you have a relevant University degree or equivalent professional experience. You have several years of experience working with project and program management, in Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid models or all of the above. You have a genuine interest for developing, supporting, coaching, and guiding people through transformations & change.
Additional competences are:
Able to orchestrate complex initiatives with multiple demanding Customers and Suppliers.
Skilled in how to select, adjust and apply the right project control model.
Skilled in driving stakeholder engagement and alignment.
Experienced in driving complex IT deliveries and providing tailored business solutions.
Good understanding and solid experience of both agile and traditional projects, as well as hybrid deliveries.
What will you do?
V.A.S. has decided to build its own IT landscape, fit for a transportation company and you will work with the line organization in VAS, with multiple stakeholders in the Group and coordinate and lead our efforts to:
Build our cloud infrastructure and digital workplace
Source and configure SaaS solutions to cover our business needs
Migrate supplier contracts
Migration of data to the new solutions
Develop integrations to the IT landscape of the Volvo Group
Change management to help the organization to adopt a new way of working to maximize the value from the SaaS solutions
The location for this position is Gothenburg - Sweden.
