Job Description
We are looking for someone who wants to take on an assignment that is a collaboration between AFRY and our customer in Ludvika! Maybe you are our next talent?
Our client is facing a period of several exciting changes and challenges and now needs the support of a production technician with an interest in production and projects. The consultant will be part of a production development department which are responsible to drive strategic initiatives and production development projects.
You will have a central role where you will have the opportunity to work with technical challenges, often in teams together with other production technicians and operators. Coordination of activities linked to i.e. methods, processes, tools and machines will be part of your everyday life.

The assembly department has production units in Ludvika and Smedjebacken, and you will be located in Ludvika with occasional presence in Smedjebacken depending on project/needs.

Qualifications
To be successful in the role, we believe that you have a burning interest in technology and an analytical ability but are not afraid to work hands-on and spend a large part of your time in production. You appreciate working together with other people and are driven by seeing results and developing.
You have finished your education in this area - either as a production technician or as a mechanical engineer.
You are a down-to-earth person with good communication skills. Furthermore you are analytical, fearless and have an independent ability. You are fluent in English in both speech and writing. The more Swedish you speak the better.
A couple of years experience from production engineering and LEAN is considered a big advantage.
Requirement for this position is that you can start an employment in Ludvika with short notice, preferably you already live there or can commute to Ludvika, and accept an initial time-limited employment- see information about the AFRY Future Graduate Program below.
