Volvo Penta's factory in Vara is part of the Global Operations and Quality function with factories in Sweden, China and the USA. In the factory in Vara, 220 employees manufacture marine and stationary diesel engines.
In the Machining Department, about 20 employees work with the manufacture of components for the assembly of marine diesel engines. Manufacturing is customer order-driven for a market that exists worldwide.
We are now looking for a new production manager for the Machining Department. The department is facing a new investment in machines where you will be important to continue to develop the business and staff. The Volvo Production System (VPS) will be an important part of this. The production manager for Machining has responsibility for results regarding safety, quality, deliveries, cost, environment and people.
As a production manager for the Machining Department, you report to the Production Manager and are part of the management team for Production in the factory in Vara.

Represent the department in various projects
